Mastery has to be earned
A clear mastery score per topic — and it can't be earned on easy questions alone. Here's how it works:

Correct answers raise their score — harder and faster answers earn more; misses lower it. Difficulty rises with them.

A topic is mastered at 80+ AND at least 3 correct on the hardest questions — so it can't be earned on easy ones alone.

Attempt every topic in the grade and reach an average mastery of 80, and the next grade unlocks. Solid across the whole grade — then onward.

Hi — I'm Ankit, a Canadian parent. I tried the big math sites for my own kids and kept hitting the same two walls: endless drill-and-repeat worksheets that just wore them down, or libraries of videos to passively watch. Neither actually tutored my kid through the exact spot they were stuck.
So I built Clairo. It teaches the real Ontario, BC & Alberta curriculum, adapts to each child question by question, and when they're stuck an AI tutor walks them through their own mistake with guiding questions — the way a good tutor would, not a worksheet or a video.
