The mastery system

Progress you can measure

Every topic has a mastery score from 0 to 100. Here's how it works and how kids move up:

Earn it by getting it right

Correct answers raise your score — harder and faster answers earn more; misses lower it. Difficulty rises with you.

Mastery has to be earned

A topic is mastered at 80+ AND at least 3 correct on the hardest questions — so you can't coast on easy ones.

Attempt every topic in your grade and reach an average mastery of 80, and the next grade unlocks. Solid across the whole grade — then onward.
